The "Drain with a Brain" uses a float mechanism to actuate a solenoid valve-when the solenoid is activated, the condensate is purged; however, when the float drops down the valve closes before any valuable compressed air or gas can escape.
 
Details Specifications
The alarm mode informs a plant engineer if there is a problem with the system and the Ecodrain's dry contacts can be wired to a maintenance program or a remote compressor shutdown in the event there is an emergency.
