| Defective capacitor. |
Test capacitor per previous instructions. |
| Faulty stationary switch. |
Inspect switch contacts and connections. Verify that switch reeds have some spring in them. |
| Bad bearings. |
Noisy or rough feeling bearings should be replaced. |
| Voltage too low. |
