PLEATFLOW II: high dirt capacity, pleated depth filters PLEATFLOW II is an absolute rated filter cartridge employing either glassfibre or FDA polypropylene filter media, thermally bonded into rugged FDA polypropylene hardware and offers unsurpassed chemical compatibility and performance. Pleatpack optimisation ensures higher throughputs, low pressure loss, high dirt capacity, long on stream life and lower filtration costs. Thermal bonding of the assembly not only guarantees the cartridge integrity but also benefits users by eliminating the need for glues or adhesives, thus minimizing levels of extractables and broadening the range of chemical compatibility. PLEATFLOW II can be employed in applications such as pharmaceutical preparations and concentrated acids. They are generally employed in the clarification and prefiltration of liquids but can also be used in gasses.
