The Hygrometer represents a breakthrough in the field of moisture measurement in air and industrial gases. At its heart, the Ceramic Technology Sensor, where state of the art metallised ceramic has replaced traditional materials (aluminium, silicon and hygroscopic salts) yielding a sensor of inherently fast response and having many advantages over previous measuring techniques.

The full range Hygrometer is designed for use in process environments to provide continuous monitoring and display of moisture content and give comprehensive interface capabilities with secondary logging and alarm equipment. Up to 500 meters (1/2k) of cable can interconnect the monitor with the sensor, whilst hazardous area applications are satisfied by simply inserting a safety shunt barrier. Existing sensor cable runs may be utilized in many cases when upgrading out-dated or unreliable instrumentation so offering a considerable cost saving on plant installations.

A clear, high resolution LCD display focuses operator attention on critical information – the measured humidity value – no more problems with out-dated non-linear analogue displays.
