CARBOFLOW Dual Function Elements (DFE) are an economical solution in many liquid treatment applications. Consisting of a high quality activated carbon impregnated onto a 5 micron rated support media, the result is a cartridge highly effective in removing particulate as well as chlorine, odours and trace organics. Combining both treatments in a single element offers numerous benefits to the user, such as lower initial capital outlay, reduced changeout times, lower disposal and running costs. CARBOFLOW DFE are designed to have broad chemical compatibility making them suitable for both strongly acidic and alkaline solutions, they are particularly effective in treating acidic copper sulphate solutions, but can also be used for water.
