SumTech ® PFPE-420 is a perfluorinated polyether (PFPE) based lubricating grease created for use in severe operating conditions caused by high temperature or aggressive chemical environments. This long-life lubricant has excellent rust inhibiting, corrosion protection,, and solvent washout resistant properties
SumTech ®PFPE-420 is ideal for use in bearings, conveyors, and pumps subject to aggressive chemicals or heat. It is recommended for drying ovens, shrink wrap tunnels, oven chains and other high-temperature applications found in food manufacturing. SumTech®PFPE-420 is generally regarded ed as neutral towards most elastomers and plastics (exception: perfluorinated rubber), however, we r com-mend testing compatibility with the material to be used prior to application
Application Notes: For best results, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the friction points with white mineral spirits. The surfaces should then be blown with clean, dry compressed air or hot air to remove solvent residue. For initial lubrication, the friction points must be free from oil, grease, perspiration, and contamination. SumTech ®PFPE-420 can be applied with a brush, spatula or lubricant dispenser.
